Studio One was built in 1990 for a Tom Hidley acoustic project and was redesigned in 2006 by Roger d’Arcy. For many years we have cooperated with world-renowned sound labels and film companies. Studio One can easily accommodate a large orchestra and chorus, while also being perfect for chamber ensembles, soloists and overdubs. Studio reverberation time is 1.8 seconds. Isolated booths for drums and solo instruments allow separating musicians from the full band. We also have three Steinway grand pianos and four drum kits.
The number and variety of projects created in Studio One would be difficult to calculate. Many famous artists and composers have recorded music here, including Angelo Badalamenti, Randy Brecker, Montserrat Caballe, José Carreras, Lara Fabian, Antigoni Goni, Donald Harrison, Michel Legrand, Vangelis.
ATC loudspeakers, a Solid State Logic SL9000K console with 80 channels and Film Scoring, Prism Sound converters, Avid Pro Tools 11HD and Merging Pyramix v9 workstations allow for recording and mixing music in stereo and 5.1.
